Tsuen Wan West Station Development – TW7 (City Point)

Property development packages are in association with the West Rail at Tsuen Wan West comprising Sites TW5, TW6, and TW7.

TW7 is located above the gazetted railway alignment. Residential towers are specially designed with minimum view angle on the main road (Tsuen Wan Road). Structural fins, fixed windows, and tall podiums are the employed mitigation measures for the development.

The HKFYG Youth Hostel PH2

Sited at a land strip adjacent to the railway in the suburb town of Tai Po, the project attempts to explore the modern subsidized hostel housing of co-living for youngsters in Hong Kong. The Project was the first completed project under the pilot Youth Hostel Scheme of the Government. With railway noise being the prime challenge, the orientation of the hostel rooms is carefully designed with acoustic windows being away from the rail.

Tai Po Fung Yuen Development (Mont Vert)

The development comprises nine high-rise residential towers. The project adjoins Fung Yuen Road and is also affected by Ting Kwok Road and the Tai Po Industrial Estate.

Detailed traffic and fixed noise source impact assessments have been conducted with recommendations given on the setback distance to mitigate the traffic noise from the main roads.
